With a passion for visual art in print the environment is a wonderful source of inspiration. From urban structures in city skylines to organic forms in plants, the lines and colour within become an integral part of many of Janette's artworks.
Digital art and printing has been an important element of her working life through teaching at RMIT Fashion and Textiles. Adobe software being the preferred media of creativity. Janette facilitates groups of students from certificate level through to Masters in the how to of Adobe software for creating digital presentations, drawings and print form marketing tools such as storyboards and look books.
Her specialised training programs extend widely into the Fashion and Textiles industry, often being the lead instructor for specialised company based training. An Adobe Train the Trainer certification and Adobe Campus Leader recognition has added to Janette's skill set.
Janette has worked with Anne Langdon collaborating as Printscape Studio on product development, hand made markets, arts workshops and art exhibitions.
Through membership with Ballarat Arts Alive, Goldfields printmakers and Sheilas artists group Janette has participated in exhibitions and artists events over that last 10 years.
